Review: G2G Protein Bars

Review: G2G Protein Bars

G2G Bar Overview

These bars are top notch. Great flavors - true representations of the bar flavor names and the texture is very dense, thick, but soft and almost creamy. With those flavors and that texture...wowow. So good!

They get even better though. They're made with good-for-you ingredients. So good they recommend you to store them in the refrigerator do freshness. No artificial junk in these! That also means no bloating due to chemical ingredients (#winning).

For individual flavor reviews, keep on reading! For my flavor rankings, from best to less best (because these were ALL good), scroll to the very bottom of this post!

Bargainer Tip: I suggest buying the sample pack (all 7 flavors for $12.50) then inputting one of the 20% off athlete/affiliate discount codes that are floating around on instagram (I used code 'heart' from @iheartmacros). That will bring you to $10.00 for the sample pack + $5.00 shipping = $15.00 for 7 bars... that's only $2.15 per bar, which is really great for a bar with such high-quality ingredients!

    Individual Flavor Reviews

    Almond butter fruit

This flavor was very impressive! The almond butter taste and smoothness really complimented the little fruit chunks throughout the bar. Then there's the texture, extremely soft! Absolutely loved this one.

    Peanut butter fruit

I gotta say... as a peanut butter lover, I'm shocked. I liked this bar, but preferred the almond butter version of the two fruit bars! The flavor of the almond butter fruit won me over, but his one won with its added texture from the peanut chunks.

    Peanut butter banana chocolate

Ahhhhmazing. Love. Give me another. This bar nailed all three flavors. I had doubts, but between the perfect flavor and the chocolate chip chunks...just wow! (it's the bar pictured at the top of this post - proof of the chunky goodness!)

Not only did the flavor deliver, but the texture was so smooth and melt-in-your-mouthy (which is now a word). I can't believe it but I'm giving this bar a....

    Almond Coconut

Pretty good, but not as soft and melt-in-your-mouthy as the others. However, it does have little crunch pieces of coconut throughout the bar, so that was a different take on texture than the other bars. Overall, I liked it, but wouldn't grab this flavor first.

    Peanut Butter Coconut Chocolate

These bars really do represent the flavor they describe! This soft bar had a peanut buttery taste with chunks of chocolate, alongside crunchy coconut pieces. While this bar was good, I didn't absolutely love either of the coconut-involved flavors (and I have nothing against coconut). However, this bar was my favorite of the two coconut ones.

    Almond Chocolate Chip

Loved the chocolate chip chunks (they're pretty big!), but overall the flavor wasn't very powerful. It was there, but not as much as I would've like it to be. However, the texture with the previously mentioned chocolate chip chunks and the almond pieces was fantastic. As well, it had the same melt-in-your mouth kind of texture as most of the other G2G bars.

    Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip

So peanut buttery, so chocolately, so amazing. This flavor was amazing and perfectly matched the description! Both flavors were very apparent and there were chunks of peanuts and chocolate throughout (and lots of them). I loved this one! I was so sad to finish it, which is a definite sign of an amazing protein bar.
